– 1 tbsp olive oil – 1 small onion finely diced – 1.5 tsp garlic powder – 1.5 tsp sweet paprika – 2x 400g cans white beans – 250 g tomato passata – 1 tbsp tomato puree – 1 tbsp maple syrup – ½ tbsp dark soy sauce – ½ tbsp apple cider vinegar

Ingredients

Heat the oil in a large saucepan. Saute the onion for 5 minutes until softened.

step two

Add the garlic powder and sweet paprika, then stir.

step three

Add the beans, tomato passata, tomato puree, maple syrup, soy sauce and vinegar.

step four

Stir to combine, then simmer for 20 minutes.
